Day 1 and counting….

Hello there. After rummaging through his DVD’s, Dana let me borrow, (along with the thousands of collection of other quick fix workout programs)  the program P90x to see what the fuss is all about. First off, I’m a tad overweight as my BMI is calculated to be around 25, which is unaccceptable. Being fit and engaging in sports most of my childhood, little was I worried about metabolism until started to hit around the age of 23. I saw a significant flux in how I ate compared to my moods, etc. And then I would be in a crappier mood after eating the nice 400 calorie Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger from Wendy’s, plus come on…. 99 cent frostys in 98 degree weather- I’m game! Therefore,  I’m utlizing the P90X and documenting most of my “blood, sweat, and tears” experience to ensure

A.) I stick with it and some accountablity is taken. I won’t be coming here everyday, more than likely every other or every third do to a busy schedule.  (School and job hunting take up most the day)

B.) It gives me something to look foward to share with anyone who is reading this as my current emotions, persistance, drive, extreme dieting, will be tested.

C.) Heard it’s a fun and very beneficial program, so why not?!

Decided to stick with the “Lean” program as I have upmost respect for these women (bc of the years and years of tedious training involved), however it’s just not me:

So today I started Phase One: consisting of the “Core Synergisitics,” which only did one half… because wanted to start off a slow pace so I can get a proper acclimation.

Weeks 1-3:
Day 1 – Core Synergistics
Day 2 – Cardio X
Day 3 – Shoulders and Arms, Ab Ripper X
Day 4 – Yoga X
Day 5 – Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X
Day 6 – Kenpo X
Day 7 – Rest or X Stretch

Cheers to “WORKING OUT!” 🙂
